For a fifth year, the Minnesota chapter of NAIOP is recognizing a member as Volunteer of the Year. The association has a tradition of high-quality events and activities that are made possible through the time, talents, and energies of volunteers. The Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes outstanding committee involvement, innovation, and community and charitable support. This year, NAIOP is proud to honor Katie Kieffer as its 2007 Volunteer of the Year.
Working at United Properties, Kieffer contributes her time to the NAIOP program and public policy committees as well as the newly formed developing leaders committee. With the program committee, she’s helped coordinate planning meetings and taken the lead with some programs. Kieffer is among the first to answer a call to write a letter or make contact with officials to further NAIOP’s public policy initiatives. She’s been instrumental in the successful launch of the developing leaders program—including participation in national events—which focuses on members who are younger than 35 years old. Her leadership, positive attitude, and willingness to contribute are extraordinary.
NAIOP thanks Katie Kieffer for all of her efforts on behalf of the organization.
